Join us in welcoming Nathan to Victoria! You may have seen Nathan around at some of our events. He is a big supporter of the Victoria Kizomba scene and has been around since we started. Nathan also works hard to contribute to the scene in Vancouver. He won the Kizomba Jack and Jill competition last year and will be teaching at our festival this year!
Nathan began dancing Kizomba and Semba in 2016, training under instructors Cesar Salazar and Tracie Yee in Vancouver, BC. He currently teaches with the UBC Latin Dance Club, introducing dancers to the beauty of Kizomba fundamentals, and the joy of expressing oneself through dance.
Nathan is a bright light in our community. He is humble, kind and so talented. I can’t wait to have him come share his knowledge and passion with us.
